A group of 4 of us went to Cafe Elite last night for dinner. 2 Vegan and 2 curious not at all vegans. First thing that struck me about the menu was that nearly every item on it had a meat replacement. I guess it’s good to have a place like this, but it seems almost like vegan junk food. I only say that because there were no fresh vegetable plates, no rice and beans, no curries and no stews. They did have a black bean soup and some different salads but I think all of them had meat replacements. We did try the chocolate cake, and we all thought the frosting/icing left a lot to be desired. That being said - we will definitely go back and try it again. I had the chick’n quesadilla and it was quite good – but the guacamole that came with it was really outstanding. Another friend had the portabella wrap and loved it.

I think i know.i asked owner today.
they gonna open next month.now they’re printing the menu and sign.
i’m waiting for the burger and soup noodle.because they do all the patties by themself.
also they have lunch buffet almost 20–30 dishes and changed everyday.

I love the comment “this is full fat…it leaves a film in my mouth”. ha ha, that’s how I feel if I eat something with real butter or cream in it…it’s a weird greasy film!

Good question…per pie (6 oz), it looks like this: 360 calories, Total Fat 17g, Carbs 45g, Protein 7g

Not sure. I took at the location today, and I think they’re taking over an existing Asian restaurant that has all the equipment/furniture in place. It doesn’t look like they’ve actually done any construction yet, so it will probably take some time for them to do a makeover and give it the Loving Hut “look.” But it shouldn’t take as long given that it’s already a restaurant.
